"I am not happy with the High Court's decision. Human beings are, at the end of the day, just human beings, no matter how fair you try to be, there is no way you can be 100 per cent impartial. And the judge who made the decision was not a Muslim, so I question the fairness in the decision," said the former Selangor Mentri Besar.
Shazwan Mustafa Kamal, "Khir Toyo Says in Mourning Over Allah Ruling", The Malaysian Insider, 2 January 2010.
it's hard to like people who say stupid things.
even harder to like people who use race in an argument when they have nothing better to say.
sheesh.
i'll just say it.
i don't like khir toyo very much.
(public: "oh, sorry, were we supposed to be surprised?")

coincidentally, there were two new feeds on my google reader. first is yours. another is Rantings byMM. and both of you were touching on the same thing.
let's just hope more people think like her.
p.s. public was supposed to say: oh, we dont like khir toyo very much too!
Erm..we Selangor people like to call him Toyol.heheh. =P
[Teck Wei] Thanks for the reference. I agree wholly with what she's said. And I see that there are still some intelligent beings who commented on her blog with the same argument she's been refuting in her post - that is, that people would get confused by the word 'Allah'. I think if that flimsy argument be used, we might as well say Hindus and Christians shouldn't be using the word "God" cuz someone might get confused. Ah well. We can argue till the cows come home, bathe and have supper, but this won't end.
[Adelene] Namecallers la you Selangor people. =P
(I'm quite sure Shazwan Mustafa Kamal writes for The Malaysian Insider and not Malaysiakini)
